Founded in the UK and with offices in the US, Asia and South America, the Red Knot team are highly experienced PR, communications, marketing and broadcast specialists who provide a range of services to clients around the world to help them achieve their brand and business goals.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead Red Knot and its clients' social media strategies and execute across all social media platforms, including but not limited to, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, and TikTok.
  • Define the social media objectives, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and metrics for measuring the success of social media campaigns.
  • Create social media content that is compelling, engaging, and relevant to the company's target audience.
  • Collaborate with other departments to align social media strategies with broader marketing and business objectives.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, technologies, and best practices to ensure the company's social media presence is innovative and ahead of the curve.
  • Manage and lead a team of social media professionals, including social media managers, content creators, and analysts.
  • Develop and manage the social media budget, including social media advertising and influencer partnerships.
  • Work with legal and compliance teams to ensure social media content and campaigns are compliant with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Analyze social media metrics to identify trends and insights, and create reports to communicate the effectiveness of social media campaigns to key stakeholders.

Education And Skills

The ideal Director of Social Media Strategy will have excellent communication, leadership, and strategic planning skills, as well as extensive experience in social media management or a related field. A bachelors or masters degree in marketing, communications, or a related field is typically required, along with a proven track record of developing and executing successful social media campaigns. The role requires the ability to work effectively under pressure and tight deadlines, as well as the ability to manage and inspire a team to achieve its objectives.
